Characters
Ashe joined the Aerial Guard as alternative to starving on the city streets. Harder than she looks, Ashe is the girl without a history, who’s got nothing but the future ahead of her. But is she strong enough to handle all the future will have her bear?
Tolban Rinks is the classic success story, the copterbird turned first-class aviator. But he’s got his own reasons for joining the Aerial Guard, not the least of which seems to be something mysterious about his home. Why does he always change the subject when people ask about his family?
Amphadora Mari–who does not go by Amphadora, thank you very much–left the life of the circus to run away and join the military. Nobody flies like Mari does, as her piloting skills are matched only by the size of her heart. But is that heart to big for a solider to lift?
Captain Kaga Sarawasu has seen many a young pilot or observer crash and burn before they even get off the runway. He’ll be damned if someone up prepared goes into the air, even if they are as cocky as Ashe…
